Dell keyboard connected to nonDell pcJust over two years ago, when I bought my Dell Dimension 8250, I ordered the simplest keyboard on offer. It has served me fine, in fact, I am so happy with it that I did not order a keyboard with my new (non-Dell) pc. The keyboard seems to work fine, but I have one question: when Windows has shut down, Elvis has left the building, the 'num lock' light on the keyboard remains on. That was not the case when the same board was attached to the Dell (in both setups Num Lock OFF was selected in the Setup menu). It does not matter, but I just wonder: why is this? I understand that the three light in the top right hand corner of the board indicate more than just Shift and Num lock, but also serve as as diagnostic aids. (sort of mimicking the light on the back of the Dell). Can someone tell me why this light stays on (I can switch it off manually)? In case you're interested: I did not desert Dell because I was unhappy with my Dell system: I simply was in a hurry. Dell UltraSharp 2405FPW 24inch Jess i don't own one but this LCD this is no 1 on my list of things i want to waste...
SATA hard drive Indeed. I manage seven HP-Compaq servers across two schools. We just got an E-mail... -- Adriana throw rubbish out if you want to reach me by mail
