Dim 4700 heat & noise

Roughly similar both 3.0ghz 800fsb. 4600's have the Northwood pentium with 512k cache and the 4700's have the Prescott pentium with the 1mb cache.

When I say the 4600's are faster they are faster with respect to cpu intensive benchmarks. A disk i-o intensive benchmark would probably do better on the 4700 with the sata disk.

The scimark scores above were produced by compiling scimark with the Intel 8.1 C compiler and turning on mondo optimizations.
