EU Warns Microsoft over Vista Features 1714

Journey, most of the U.S. sees Microsoft as a world shaker, an enigma that rolls where it wants to roll. The computer world as you know it, as the world knows it would be crap if it weren't for Microsoft.

The advances in the computing would have never taken place. A desktop computer for the regular person would have never become a reality. An operating system that lets the world work together using the same guidelines and rules would have never evolved.

It would be something like Linux is now. Just a bunch of idiots doing their own thing with no compatibility between any of them. This is yet one more example of America getting done what needed to be done and doing it so good that people once again hate us for it.

So everyone can hate Microsoft all they like, call it a monopoly and capatilistic. And while you are doing that you can also take advantage of everything that Microsoft has given you and made possible for the whole world. They don't care if small minded men and women have a grudge against them, there will always be those.

Microsoft could just pull out of Europe all together and see if that would settle some of the raw nerves that so many Europeans feel for anything that has to do with America. The delicate sensibilities of the Europeans would be dealt a blow then wouldn't they. Then they would probably try to sue Microsoft for pulling out of their dying economy.

I personally wish they would, but there is a little bit of money to be made in Europe I suppose, so they will not. Just pack up and say to hell with the lot of you. If you don't care for us, we will not overstay our welcome. That, of course, would screw up the Europeans so bad they would probably never recover though. They would fall right back into the non-computerized and backward world they were in before America brought computing and the Internet to them.
