Enable write caching on disk

Hi All, I have a peer to peer network and just added a new secondary HD on my Dimension 8200 I use as the server. I also added a new secondary WD250GB JB drive on my workstation Dimension 4550.

My question is should Write caching be enabled on both of these disks or one or none? I read some on Google and the HW tab says there may be a loss of data if it is enabled. But, I thought that was one of the benefits of the WDJB drives with 8MB of cache. Or maybe I'm confusing two different things? I would prefer speed, but not at the risk of losing data. Thanks, Pat

P.S. Anybody know how to fix that stupid front usb door cover. It flopped open when I was changing the drive on the 8200 and now it won't close! The guy that designed the door and USB ports should go back to ergonomics 101!
