I just placed this order this morning using the $750 Inspiron coupon.
I decided to go with integrated video, even though I can afford dedicated video. My rationale is that the integrated video would give better battery life. Any opinions -- significant?, true, false?
The Truelife display will alleviate any concerns I have about brightness. SXGA+ hits the sweet spot for me.
I though about going with a 60G 7200rpm hard drive vs. the 100G 5400. The main consideration is battery life. Amount of storage is also a consideration to a lesser extent.
I went with 1G RAM, 2 DIMMS. If I decide I want more later I can replace one of the 512's with a 1G from Crucial.
I got the most expensive wireless card (therefor the best, right?) and bluetooth for syncing my Palm when away from home wireless.
