Getting Rid of Dell Bloatware. 1832
You have me beat as far as owning a computer earlier than the first one I owned, but the first one I programmed on was a Commodore Pet. I was one of the top math students in my city so I got to go to a special summer program to use Commodore Pet BASIC to solve math programs. Getting Rid of Dell Bloatware It is extremely common... arguably the norm... for things to be left behind. Some residue is easy to find, some is hard to find, some is exceptionally hard to find... The Pet also used cbuttettes, I think the screen "resolution" was 40 colums wide (or less, I remember I was so impressed with the Commodore 80 and wanted to have one). There wasn't a place for any cartridge. Of course I was very young when I attended that. In fact, let's see, that was 3 years prior to my birth date so it was very challenging :-) and I had to make liberal retroactive use of virtual concepts to achieve that. The instructor, whoever it was (I think I remember his name -- I do remember him vividly), deserves a LOT of credit for putting that clbutt together. We were solving integrals using a random number generator that counted whether randomly generated x and y points were above or below the value of a function -- really neat and just what I needed to move my young brain in the right direction. We also did multi-dimensional arrays, and that's when I decided to become a computer programmer. Now I've come to my senses :-) I can do it very well, but I'm not a big fan of self-imposed mental torture. Getting Rid of Dell Bloatware. 1833 Clark, First, I'll address the items you mention. Then, I'll detail what I did to remove bloatware. I just received a Dell Inspiron 6400 and have successfully cleaned up all the bloat. I don't like... Journey
