"Also, I think tech support quality (from the large companies) in = general must be getting worst..."

Exactly my point! Customer support in virtually every industry and = virtually every company is not what it used to be. Truth is, it's lousy = and it's getting worse. And how about customer service in your local = retail store or chain....how often do you encounter a sales "buttociate" = who knows anything about the products they sell, or gives a d**n about = you as a customer, or, for that matter, understands what you're saying = in English?

Dell didn't invent poor customer support, however, because Dell is = either the largest or among the largest retailer of PCs, their poor = support affects more people. But does Dell give worse customer support = than your cable company, your bank or your local garage?

People who single out Dell for poor support, as if Dell is to be held up = as some kind of example, are either incredibly naive or they have a = grudge that they won't get over. Instead of moving on with their lives, = they use every opportunity to say something bad about Dell until it's = obvious to just about everyone that they have nothing worthwhile to = contribute to this group except for their incessant and boring moaning = and whining.
