it may be worth $75 but not any more. most business have to pay to discard equipment, and that is just for the fee that office building charge for disposal of electronic equipment that can not be dumped into regular landfill in many communities. they also have to pay to have someone wipe the drives so that there is no confidential information carelessly leaked through the disposal of the old equipment. and if they are wiping their systems then you are looking at spending several hours reloading a new operating system yourself. and a laptop without a warranty is a risky proposition as parts and labor are so expensive that you have to view something like this as disposable in the event you have a problem. so, unless you know your way around testing and installing software on a system from the ground up i suggest that you don't throw you money away on what seems to be a bargain. if they want to load the machine for you to a factory fresh state and provide a 30 day warranty (money back, a repair would be unreasonable to expect since it will cost more than the system) then you might be getting an ok deal. keep in mind that a new laptop with a full year warranty can be had for about $500.
