Sparky, Damn, just put a bid on a new Dell 17" last night on ebay, going to use my old XPST system for the kids to use.. Would have bought that P991 off you :) .. So far I'm the only bidder on it, figured for a second system $44 for a brand new 17" Dell monitor still in sealed box was a good deal, that is if the bidding doesn't go up in the next few hours... How long have you had the P991, I've seen at Dell's support there has been quite a few people who had the same problems as I with the P991, wondering if they had a bad lot.. Mine is 5 years old, it's so bad now that if I turn the brightness up over 70% it shuts down not to mention the picture is horrible, tried adjusting everything on the monitor and through the graphics card... just shot I guess..
