Need opinions please

We bought the Inspiron 6000 with the following features...
Pentium M 740 (1.73 GHz), 15.4" WXGA, Integrated Intel 900 video, 60 GB HD, XP Home with CD, 8x DVD burner, Integrated NIC and modem (Broadcom NIC on mine), Intel 2200BG wireless NIC, Nylon Case, and a DLink DI-524 router. The wait time was 7 business days. I ordered on a Saturday via the Net and it arrived on Tuesday of the following week.
Now a couple of points. Gaming on this system was not important to me hence the Intel integrated. It does what we intended and my wife can run her Hardwood Solitaire game just fine. Nice and quick and the 2200BG connects just fine to the router without any slow downs or dropped connections.

If you are a gamer and want an even higher res screen, I suggest the non-integrated video card and the WSXGA screen. Cost was an issue with us and we only needed basic Internet and computing operation. Lovely notebook though and my wife said we should have bought it long ago. Translation...I am never going to see this notebook in my lifetime...grin.
