No OS CD

You need to not ask for, but request the product that you paid for in full and not accept any less. Don't be weak willed or soft spoken. Dell owes you an OS CD because it belongs to you.

You should receive one free of charge, along with the Drivers and Utilities and the Application CD. And don't forget a Drivers and Utilities CD for a printer if applicable. I would never pay 5 or 10 dollars for products that I have already bought when I purchased a computer. Where I am from, we do not like paying twice for one product.

I, like everyone else I suppose, had to call and request all of the CD's. I did this after I received the computer. I decided to ask them what I needed to do now that I had a 2 day old computer that was unusable (not in reality) because I was not supplied with everything that I bought. The tech support personnel said just use the Dell PC Restore option available.

I informed tech support that I had taken it upon myself to format the PC Restore parbreastion and it was not usable. He asked why I did that. I told him because I thought it would be fun. He then blew out his breath and agreed to send me everything that I had already bought out of the kindness of his heart I suppose. I blew out my breath and told him to not to question me in the future as to why I need Dell products if I have already paid for them, but to just send them to me.

The CD's arrived about 2 days later.
