I only delete Cookies and Temporary Internet files.

OK . See below...

So I need to find out WHY new Cookies and Temporary Internet files are created daily, as I go about my computer usage?

I could tell the system NOT to accept Cookies, but I'm not sure whether that would, as is implied, keep me from accessing things, or make it more difficult. They make it sound so threatening.

Your thoughts?

I do respect your references, but I wonder what they will do that Spyware Doctor will not? (I'm not wedded to this, but it is, per Colin Wilson, a legitimate product.)

What I keep asking, and I'm having trouble making it clear, is whether removing Cookies and Temporary Internet Files daily actually erases them from my system.

That question is separate from the question that you brought up above, as to why new ones keep getting created daily because of programs resident in memory.

Sigh! So many choices, so little knowledge. What to do...

HOW eliminate "all the nasties" (sniffle)??

BTW - I tend to avoid any Microsoft product that I can, on principle,
