According to the UPS tracking, the shipping status was changed from 2-day to a longer time (I think ground).
Being obsessive :-) I noticed it right away. I called UPS and they said when they picked it up the routing or something was changed.
First day's impressions: - I love it! - I am used to a 2001fp and a 2405fps, so...
I put on my disgruntled person hat (I really do think these are opportunities to practice acting skills lol), and said "I paid for 2-day shipping blah blah blah".
At first they were hesitant, I think because if someone at pickup (from Dell) had requested a later delivery, maybe it is because that person would be out of town, and someone that wanted to steal it could take advantage of it arriving earlier. They asked me a bunch of questions and I always come across as being very honest and forthright (hey I haven't used that word in a fortnight or two).
So, it was then that UPS bent over backwards (what a wierd saying) for me. I couldn't believe it actually but they changed the package routing back to 2 days and I was able to get it by Friday. This whole thing was because I didn't want to have to go through the waiting torture of waiting a whole weekend.
So, thumbs up for UPS. When they deliver to my apartment though, they never put a note on my door and then put it in the apartment office. So, sometimes I don't know that I have a package and the office calls and says that it's been there about a week.
