3. I notice your sentiment about ZoneAlarm and McAfee. I have used ZoneAlarm (the firewall only) for about 5 years now and have only had one or two problems in the past that Zone Labs identified and patched. I tried Kerios once but found it too complicated. Would you recommend another free and simple firewall?
The same with McAfee (even though I realize there are several McAfee related tasks; I suspect I can do without one or two of them but I have been unable to identify which ones; and McAfee support is too lazy to say).
