A further thought on this - if its particular sites that annoy you with adverts, there`s nothing stopping you making a note of the domains used to aggregate the adverts and putting them into your own hosts file...

These are what i`ve manually added to mine in addition to the Spybot host entries, but obviously the sites you visit may well use different advertisers
