Instead of saying something like: it is probably not a Trojan that is causing your problem as the other poster suggested. No, you think you will be the debunker and totally demean the advice I gave the OP.

Then, you have the nerve to turn right around and tell the OP to do the EXACT same thing that I suggested he do first. As if I had not mentioned that at all and you had the brilliant idea to suggest this to the OP all on your own. That is what struck me as odd, the duplicity of your whole post seemed kind of hypocritical.

Lordoftenbroke, I have found that USB's "Plug and Play" works differently in XP than it did in W98, and maybe WinME. You need to Select "Remove Hardware Safely...
