will AS501PA Sound Bar work in ultrasharp

i have recently received with dimension 4700 and e193 flat panels the following speakers: part number 313-3485, description "AS501PA FP SPK W-PW ADPT, E153-E171-E193" this was the new style sound bar that has a completely sliver front, goofy blue light glowing from the middle, and the power-volume switch on the side.
a few months before that with a dimension 4700 and e193fp flat panel i received the following speakers: part number 313-201, description "AS500PA FP SPK W-PW ADPT, E153-E173-E193" this was the older style sound bar that was had silver grills over the speakers on each but was black in the center with a power-volume switch and power led in the front.
a few months before that with dimension 4600 and e173fbb flt panels i received the following speakers: part number 313-2201, description "AS500 14W Flat Panel Stereo Speakers with Power Adapter for E153, E173. E193 Flat Panels" this was the older style sound bar that was had silver grills over the speakers on each but was black in the center with a power-volume switch and power led in the front.
very odd that they explicitly state the compatible display models in the description. perhaps the reason why some say for analog flat panels and others say for the digital flat panels is because of a difference in the power cords bundled with the unit and not becuase of the way it clips to the monitor... who knows.
