Article: From GUIAvoider to OS X 1440
begin Error log for Tue, 01 Mar 2005 22:13:18 -0700 - Snit caused a page follows .vbs There really...

Snit poked his little head through the XP firewall and said:

Good for her. However, she ain't exactly logical:

Thankfully, there is no Start menu. The computer shutdown-restart functions are on the Apple Menu, where they belong, since they have nothing to do with finding files, and they are not files to be found.

And here, she indicates some ignorance of Windows:

The clumsy file location system on Windows is reason enough on its own to get me to switch. The simple, straightforward, logical system presented by OS X is one of the reasons why I can say that I AM more productive on a Mac. I spend a lot less time navigating around on my Mac. Here again, the difference in my fatigue level after using Windows compared to using the Mac is nothing short of astonishing.

And here, she is just plain goofy:

But things never seem so bad on the Mac. There are in fact real reasons for this. Im convinced that it is due to the intense three-dimensionality of the Mac UI elements (buttons, windows, menu text). Take window shadows...the shadows are VERY deep and appear on all three sides of the window, thus making the window appear to float quite high above the window beneath it. All windows, whether menus, sheets, dialogs or standalone, are shadowed.

Yes, when I can get it to work. But thank you for asking... from another...

Otherwise, looking at the pictures, Mac also has a farrago of menu entries.

But, hey, she likes her system. Cool.

Frankly, Scarlet, I don't give a damn.
