Kelsey Bjarnason

Why would it? How could it, except as a typo in the middle of a sentence?

Poor Kelsey is off his game the past few months.

How about Borland telling users "don't compile code if the first word is "Return"? That kind of nonsense is analagous to starting a Usenet post with 'begin '.

Yes it is trivial. And Linux and OSS if full of trivial bugs.

And of course, here's Kelsey, merrily claiming Pan "works" when the reality is it doesn't work.

I can just picture the Pan developers noodling when someone asks them for a new feature: "Well, we already have menus with 16 items on them. Guess a 17th can't hurt anything. How do you work around the OO.o Calc mangler macro bug I found? You know, the one that overwrites your data without warning when you run a simple macro recorded by the program itself?

Your weasely response will be "I don't use OO.o Calc." But others do, so how do they work around the slopware? Tell us.

The Linux-OSS world hasn't heard this message, that's for sure.

They have more important things to worry about, such as how to get that 274,528,771st sale of XP, or how to extract $35 from their customers for tech support help.
