Commercial code is better: Cedega VS Wine 3362Hardly the type I meant, but, yes, I believe there was. I'd prefer one that's like, maybe, the ones that they have going now for Celebrex and Vioxx(sp). One that has national coverage, where the attorneys expect to make enough from it that they're willing to spend several million advertising. Commercial code is better: Cedega VS Wine 3363 That's why I used an analogy. Loss is loss. rest is loss. But only one of them can (directly) cause rest. If... That's true. But the average person isn't involved. The owners of the zombies are still spending a fortune to clean things up and-or buy new machines and-or keep nasties at bay because they can't keep up. The consumers are helping to fund the M$ tax, not just by paying it, but by getting taken to the cleaners over trying to keep things from getting worse. The crooks who write the malware are responsible for writing the malware. But M$ has been told and told and told and told. They've had years to try to do something about it. They've done nothing more than forcing upgrades with a mix of new and old problems, putting on bandages for current known problems, and giving others incentives to make money off of the problems. The average people are the ones taking it in the shorts. Everybody should expect some level of bugs. It's impossible to not have some. But nobody should have any reason to expect bugs that are ignored, or for which patches that do little or nothing are repeatedly offered as a pretense for fixing things. MICROS~1 isn't responsible for the making of the malware. MICROS~1 is responsible for allowing the malware to take and keep and increase hold by refusing to take any actions of any substance to prevent it. A national clbutt action would put an end to it. MICROS~1 could easily end up on the ash heap with the makers of breast implants, DOW-CORNING. The difference is MICROS~1 would deserve to be there. -- Rahak: Innovative Microsoft peer-to-peer software.
