That's impossible. They'd have to install it and get it to work first. Until they do that, they can't possibly know what else to whine about.

That may be. I'd hope so. But there are some who (it appears) are doing everything they can to accomodate as many of them as possible now. With limits.

Just imagine that a few of the developer dopes jump ship (pick whatever reason you'd like, just imagine them doing it). They find things hard, and they're confused (not to mention still stupid). They set out to make things easier for themselves. Along the way they discover other people who are trying to switch who have similar problems. They release what they have to the other windufii who start worshipping them for being so smart. The dimbulb developers let it go their heads, start "improving" the mutations they already created and start "developing" new spawns of the devil. This leads to the creation of new cults to follow them around, begging for even more idiotic "ease of use" (read: Windwoes-like) "improvements". They start running out like moonies or Jehovah's Witnesses, dragging new people into their worship sessions and away from Winders. Eventually there's a whole subspecies of people who call themselves linux users that aren't anything more than Winders users thinking they're better off than they were before.

Is that outlandish? Maybe. Is it likely? I doubt it. Is it impossible? No.

I don't expect it, but I shudder to think things could go that way. It would make the impossible possible. The thought gives me nightmares.

Just imagine the likes of DFS or Bill Weisgerber as "linux users"....
