MIMF wrote something like: I enjoy using linux. It's really cheap. Cheaper than air. Windows would cost me quite a bit more than $200 to run on the 8 PC's here. Linux is an excellent OS without a major faults that is largely immune to malware... After using windows... Well, just can't really with all the malware and security holes. Too much hbuttle and software to install. I even stopped the computer repair work I did as I got sick to rest of nothing but reinstalling winders and installing anti-virus and anti-spyware... So do you fear that if people move to OSS you will no longer make money writing software? Do you need to come here to talk people out of linux to protect your income? That's understandable, but there are plenty of jobs and you can save money by using linux. That's why you see it as ugly, tho, as you fear it... Ah well, it looks good from this side as I make money elsewhere and just use linux to help make the money and save money... Cursor movement in Linux 16614 If you have 8 PCs, you must be using it for something productive, therefore paying $200 for each copy (or $100 for Windows... -- - I use linux. Can anyone give me a good reason to use Windows? -
