Phrases like 'Linux loonies' are just plain abusive, which say more about you than they say about linux users. You can't blame Peter for that, because he didn't say it - you did. I know that it can be easy to be drawn into these things, and I know I've been caught in the past, but it doesn't make it right.

I would point out that I have both a couple of Macs (one very old, one very new) and several Linux machines, so the pair of you are both insulting me, my family, friends, colleagues for no clear reason. I killfiled Peter long ago, and suggest you do the same, before others start to killfile you. Don't let yourself get dragged to that level.
