Face it f***wit, therehavebeen tests of the GPL, and the reason it never gets to court is each and every one of those companies legal departments took a look at it, said 'We have ZERO rights to distribute or modify this code if we DONT follow the GPL, and once we break the rules on distribution, we have zero rights to distribute, and it falls back on copyright and its huge fines per infringement'

Look at how many thousands of firewalls and routers are made from the netfilter project, and how often they have bumped into a company that is not complying, the first set of emails go back and forth, and weeks later, they comply or withdraw the product....

It doesn't strike you as odd that not even ONE of those infringing parties had enough confidence in their position (or GPL's lack thereof) that they tried to take it to court?

You know just as well as I do that the GPL is a very effective protection, because of the severe penalties pushed for by the US and other 'IP states' for copyright infringment. Nobody wants to spend the $ on lawyers, let alone on fines.

Which is why you and every other wintroll out there takes pot shots at it when you can, its just too bad you tried to pull that poo in COLA, where people understand that the GPL is for 'Users' its not a EULA, its for 'DISTRIBUTORS' and those attempting to profit off the works of others.

So you should change your bullpoo to 'but are constantly butterted by the FSF against those who might want to profit from SOMEONE ELSE's invention'
