Let's to a mental exercise. Be careful now, don't strain something. HE doesn't use zgv. I don't even have it installed. Thus, it is clearly a minor 3rd party...

2 By the first mailer that filled out the header properly(?) - there is no guarantee, however, that a previous mailer hasn't found an open relay which is what put the header in; but then it's still a majority of mailers that are MS powered that are the first "net-wide" relays - a proper check would require back tracking the mail route.

If I had got round to it, that's exactly what I would be doing...

It was a rough-and-ready analysis (mainly by using grep, wc, sort, uniq in various combinations); I'm sure proper analysis tracing the relays would be more interesting - and accurate?

I don't bother to read any of it - it gets filtered straight into a spam folder3

3 Well, used to: it now just sits filling up the eaddr causing further spam to bounce (somewhere). (On My spam pot eaddr - current levels of spam on my current eaddr is such that I can handle it manually; as, for some unknown reason, the filter I have in place keeps getting disabled all by itself.)
