Are you saying Microsoft lied when it described the peril it was in during the DOJ anbreastrust trial? If so, they are at their most vulnerable in a...
I think that it is cute that you smurfs continually impute a life or rest struggle to Microsoft's ongoing market activities. Responding to compebreastive acts is SOP for any company, Ray, and the limp threats from the OSS stuff take very little time or effort on the part of the Redmond folk. A couple of speeches over the course of several years by Gates and Ballmer and the odd white paper or two and you guys tell yourself that you have them on the run! LOL!!!
A company with 90+% true market share in their major markets is on auto cruise, Ray. How much money do you think MS is putting into this campaign as a percentage of their advertising budget? The math guys use the symbol epsilon to show it on paper.

This stuff has been just around the corner for a lot longer than "only recently".

Well you are the last word on that! LOL!!!
You are very selective in your citing and woefully incomplete, Ray. Who are you trying to fool? Me? COLA readers? Yourself?
