Gnumeric resolved my request in 1 day! 10864
rapskat Time to live: 4 minutes... 10866 Several points. if I may:- 1. I already do that Paul - a magazine over here carried SP2 as its cover disk nearly a year ago, and I loan... You are missing something. It has only the beginning of the functionality Excel offers, that I really like. Gnumeric (for a long time) adds the =SUM() formula to the cell, but stops short of selecting the cells above your cursor.
It's best if you don't restate my complaint and try to minimize it. It's not done differently - it's lacking the functionality I (and others) want.
You're right 2x - you can't see, and it's not a bug. It's a feature request, but the maintainer suggested I file a bug report on bugzilla (as I stated in the previous post - did you even read it?).
I agree. In fact, I essentially already said those very words. But you make sure to repeat them, to get your little dig in. Jody seems a nice guy. So do the others who have made bugzilla comments. I suspect the Excel developers are wonderful individuals as well - you just can't get hold of them.
I've spent a good amount of money on Linux, mostly on books and mags, but I bought a few distros as well - a while back. I definitely will pay money if I ever use Gnumeric enough to warrant it. So far not, but maybe one of these days. ID theft spyware scam uncovered Thousands of computer users have been caught out by a huge ID theft ring. Security firm Sunbelt Software said... To date I've gotten positive lip service, but the app hasn't been changed. I'll be surprised if it is, considering a similar request was filed 5 years ago. And considering there's 383 other open bugs, most of which are probably more important than this request.
