In real life, rules of conduct are agreed upon in order to maintain an organized society in which verbal and physical violence is kept to a minimum. Etiquette is one of the more important sets of rules. It's purpose is to avoid offending people and to allow for easy interactions by having more or less standardized rules. The same goes on usenet. If you want to be part of any serious discussion, it is no more than polite to make it easy for others to see what you are talking about. Deliberate obfuscation defies the purpose of engaging in a debate. Your behavior in this thread is not condusive to the purpose of usenet.
