Linux in general is focused more on folks who like to tinker - nothing wrong with that, just a somewhat different focus than OS X which is designed for people who just want it to work out of the box. Sure, you can personalize OS X, but it is not the tinkerers paradise like Linux is.

The docks on top and bottom - which also act as menus. They seem a bit of a catch-all to me.
