That might well be.. but have you configured it? no configuration means that this stuff is detected, but not ready to be operated.

I've got no clue what kind of person would use USB for sound, but I also don't know the card and therefor can not comment on this issue.
It depends on what Lexmark printers, but most do actually work. Sometimes you need to install an older versions driver, but it will print exactly the same.
It's funny to say that this is one of the few that does actually work... Your system does work. It's not bad at all... but where you able to use Windows full capabilities right from the first day? It took me 3 years to get comfortable with windows lay-out and tools.
That is because you jump-start into a new system and expect it to be exactly the same as windows... it's not called by a different name for nothing... but everything you will adjust to easily, especially with SuSE, since they are looking more and more like Windows. That is you opinion and you are allowed to have it, but if you would have asked how to get your hardware working, you opinion might have turned out opposite.
