Tell ya what, if you can give me a series of steps that starts with "right click on a drive icon and select properties-hardware" and ends with telling you a name of the form "-Device-Harddisk0-D", then I will publicly post, on this forum, that you are smarter than me (and Microsoft, since their very page on this subject includes no such procedure). Make sure it's a process that even Grandma can follow, since Windows is supposed to be so simple to use.
