snips On 3 Jul 2005 12:16:30 -0700, Vladimir Yepifano Pretty much, yeah - but for a good reason. To date, the only folks who seem to make such...

This brings to mind a method I think should be employed any time one of the "lower TCO" FUD pieces is put out.

First off, *which* Micro Soft allegations are they talking about? Yes, the claims of higher TCO. But are they the ones directly vomitted by $MONOPOLY? One of the many others "reported" by their bought-off stooges? In either case, which *specific* claim by which of the parties prompted this response? Or was it because of the overall FUD machine working in all corners?

I think the best way to handle each and every one of these false claims by the criminal enterprise at One MICROS~1 Way is to treat them as though they came directly from there. After all, that *is* the originating source of each of the claims, whether Blammer told somebody to do it, the $MOB threatened someone to get the specific lies spread, someone stands to lose by any minimalization of the crapware monopoly or whatever other motivation prompted the deliberate deceit spread from Redmond or other environs. So it's not really a stretch to blame FUD HQ for the fraud perpetrated by one of their "partners" (in crime).

Just my opinion. I know, they're like buttholes. But there are enough Windoozie buttholes here that I figure I can toss mine out sometimes, too.
