That has nothing to do with the actual answer most Mac advocates would give.
You made it up.
You created a weaker - and silly - statement so you could point out the weakness. You created a straw man.
In doing so, you lied - *twice*
Once when you state that Mac advocates, as a whole, would suggest someone spend more money, and the second time when you claim Macs are, in general, more expensive than the primary alternative - Windows.
Keep in mind - if you can - that the comment you make is:
Computer Shopper: I'm looking for a good computer. Mac Advocate: Spend more money! Buy a Mac instead of a PC
Which has nothing to do with buying a Play Station or VPC or a real PC. Once someone suggests people buy more, then you *may* have a point about spending more money - depending on the details of the situation.

You pretend like I have *anything* to do with those comparisons... other than reporting them. As I have said, if you have others to add, let me know and I will happily do so. As you can see on the site, I have some that show Macs as being more expensive... though most show the Mac being the same or less... as one would expect if one has any experience in the computer industry and is honest.
