I must apologize... 10079I work with the stuff, in its native environment, every day. It's C-R-A-P on its good days. Period. I don't subscribe to the notion that people should have their choices taken away. I'm fine with the notion that people can choose what they want, even if the choice is an idiotic one. Like choosing Winders. So I don't see any need to make the crapware go away. I just want to see the choices be available through efforts by OEMs deciding what to do and what not to do based solely on business ideas instead of fear of the consequences. The way it now exists. As for the Winders users, let them choose it if that's what they want.* I just think they should be registered and have to meet with counselors monthly so we can keep an eye on 'em. They already show themselves to be a danger to society by making the retardo decision to intentionally use Winders in the first place. Maybe the should have to go through a background investigation. Perhaps a waiting period or something. I must apologize... 10080 Peter Hayes 5 years ago I would have said they have nothing to fear on Intel equipment. Not from Linux, or OS-2, or BeOS, or anything... * By definition, this would have to be after they have a choice, not under current circumstances. Many currently have no choice, or they have to wade through tons of bilge and FUD before finding their options. So everything following that sentence could only be enacted once real choice is available. -- Don't open Windows, you'll let the bugs in!
