All my little note does is point out that in the near future it is quite conceivable that many LCD displays on the market could be good enough with regards to the color space that they are able to display to compete, quality wise, with CRT's. Obviously, if you can buy 30 or 40 CRT's that provide comparable performance (other than the physical space requirement) for the price of one these things, it is not going to be a realistic option for 99.99% of people who need them for this kind of work. However, my guess is that noe that there is someone using this technology, others will follow and both the price and the performance will go up (like most LCD screens, I believe this LCD screen is a bit slow --which isn't generally a concern for image manipulation requirements but is undesirable for games and video-- but LCD's are also starting to improve in this regard these days).
