Other that a monopoly that abused their monopoly status in violation of EU and US law.

Yes, it is. You want to call us hypocrates based on having different views on different issues, that is just NONSENSE.

On Sat, 12 Mar 2005 09:39:43 -0800, ralph While it's not true that there's no such thing as an illegal monopoly, it's not true that MS...

Hmmmm, so, without looking at the merit of the case or the law we are supposed to accept all court decisions as equal. That is just nonsense.

Nope. Based on my belief that compebreastion is a good thing. But you are saying that I am a hypocrate because I have differing views on the validity of particular laws governing copyright and those that govern a monopoly's behavior, that is just nonsense. You are saying that, if I disagree with a particular set of laws, I have to agree with a court decision based on those laws because the courts came to a conclusion I agree with based on laws I agree with, that is nonsense.

I disagree with the laws that govern copyrights because these laws limit compebreastion.

I agree with laws that govern monopolies behavior because these laws protect compebreastion.

I have different views of DIFFERENT laws based on the same belief. How is this hypocritical.

I disagree with the verdict in the Apple case because I disagree with the laws it was based on. How is this being a hypocrate?

I agree with the verdict*-S-* in both the US and the EU that have found that MS has abused its monopoly status because of the merits of the case *-and-* I agree with the laws they verdict was based on. How is this hypocrisy??

Nope, you are trying to say that because I agree with one court rulings I have to agree with all court rulings just because they are court rulings or I am a hypocrate. That is just nonsense. I have the right to agree and disagree with court cases based on more than just the fact that they are court rulings. I have the right to judge the ruling based on the MERITS of the case, as I see them, and my opinion of the laws the verdict was based on.

I guess you have some twisted way of thinking that judging legal merit based on the EXACT same metric is hypocritical, but I do not.
