Just a little FYI, in case you didn't know. Linux doesn't care about market share. Like apple PC's, linux has been used happily in a minority position for years. Many superior products are also minority products. So what.

As for DVD's you are FOS. A decent distro requires only libdvdcss and the w32 codecs to play dvd's in linux. The reason for this is because linux was not supported so we had to find a way around the crap.

So you pick and choose your free software to make your computer work and prop up windows...

Yeah, sure. Pull the other one. I've never ever crashed a linux system ever in over 10 years running multiple machines ;-)

It's a point of view. I find that windows fails at simple everyday real people tasks - most especially just getting safely on the internet.
