Linux Sucks and Nothing in this Group goes to prove otherwise

VPN Service Provider

I've tried Linux, in fact I've tried Mandrake, Suse, Gentoo, ubuntoo, Fedora and Knoppix and all of them suck in one way or another,

I have never been able to do half the things some of the people in this group seem to somehow accomplish on far less than state of the art hardware.

I have an Intel P4 3.0 ghz system and I don't know how you Linux users do it, but if I try and run 10 videos at once and then try and burn a CD I end up with a coaster. Yes I have DMA turned on and all that stuff.

So just how do you nuts do it?

The real answer is that you don't, but you lie anyway.

On Sat, 05 Feb 2005 18:44:32 -0500, Peter Gluckman Well, I've tried Mandake, Red Hat, SUSE, Fedora, Knoppix, and a bunch of other live CDs, and while I've had issues with some of them, none...

Personally, I think most of you are full of poo because you seem to regularly exceed the limits of hardware and yet you blame all the failings on Microsoft.

I think most of you are either lying or leaving out information.

Like I said, I have tried to duplicate many of the claims posted in this group, and I have pretty much state of the art hardware, and I have not been able to do it. I can't do it with Windows either which proves my point that hardware is the limit and you nuts are making most of this stuff up.

I have tried various versions of Linux and they all suck in one way or another.

The general public is not ready for Linux and may not be ready for 20 years.

Considering Linux market share of .24 percent of desktop systems, 20 years sounds just about right! PG
