From the screenshots the UI also looks "the way it should" meaning it uses a basic check-book metaphore. I don't need or want to do all that much with my finance app. I've never used one to track investments, schedule automatic payments or anything like that. eTrade gives me web-based tools that do the job better and in real-time. There are a few caveats: 1. You have libraries to emulate Windows... Most of my payments are done on-line through the Bank of America web-site. Utility bills, cell phone bills, phone bill, etc all get paid this way. But there are several small checks that I need to write and track that I can't pay on-line. (Checks to the school for sports fees, pay the guy who plows my driveway, landscaping, town water bill, etc.) *ALL* that I basically want to do is to download activity from my bank and be able to enter and print checks myself. I don't need to track multiple accounts and rental property. Just a basic 'checkbook ledger' that's easy to use and that can print standard checks.
