M audio under Linux with MM kernel under mandrake sound server crashesWHOLLY poo!!!!!!! Kernel? C-Programs? Loopback Configuration? poo!!!! You MUST be running Linux (AKA LINSUX)....... Look dude, if you ever intend to make music, not "music" based on some kind of oddball math algorythims, you had better FORGET ABOUT LINUX. EVERYONE knows LINUX SUX!! It not only SUX, it REAKS!!!!! Compile this, compile that, play with this setting that setting and every other setting under the sun and STILL it won't work right. The only people *I* know using Linux in a production setting are a couple of egghead professors at Cornell who are composing music based upon the the curve of electrical resistance of different metals vs heat applied to them. Interesting? Maybe.... Music? NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd rather listen to Brittany. My Advice is to ask in some Linux groups but don't expect any help because 99 percent of those dorks will tell you that it works for them and you will soon realize that they are lying because they are Linux nuts. iPod Linux On Fri, 04 Mar 2005 13:10:49 -0600, Liam Slider Don't buttume what you don't know. I've been to both of those pages. Mr. Hall is using Fedora, NOT Suse 9.2. The cavecanen link... COLA-NUTS we call them.... Seriously, get yourself a copy of N-Tracks for $39.99 and you will be all set.
