I was concurring with your comment, "But something just does not add up here...". That "something" was not defined, but for clarity, let me do so now:

You made a post with comments and judgements about a product that were wholely in error without so much as consulting with persons that might be more knowledgeable about the subject first.

Are you always in the habit of coming to conclusions with only half of the facts? It stands to reason that someone would *ask* prior to making damning comments about something, especially if that someone doesn't possess much knowledge about it in the first place.

You claim to be an educator, I would expect that you would attempt to get as much information as possible prior to making definitive statements about a thing.

In lieu of this and other threads you have originated re Linux, I can only hope that you won't take it upon yourself to act as an advocate of Linux or OSS. Additionally I hope that your students have enough wherewithal to separate fact from opinion when attending your lectures, as obviously you are quick to formulate faulty conclusions and just as faulty opinions thereof.
