August 2002, I believed in it enough to have rolled it out to a few local businesses... December 2001... in fact, it was December 1, 2001, when I posted this: "I'm now to the point of thining about wiping the 2K parbreastion, rebuttigining most of it to Linux, and keeping just enough of it that I can install Win98 - so I can play some games when I feel like it. I kept the W2K parbreastion around and bootable because I wasn't sure Linux would be the answer for me - well, guess what? I don't really need that 2K parbreastion now, because, despite your protests, not everyone runs Windows." So, by December 2001, I had already been running Linux as a desktop long enough to conclude that I didn't really need Windows anymore, apart from perhaps playing a couple of games. So, December 2001 to December 2004 would be... well, golly gee, three years. Plus a couple months to get to the present. So guess what?
