OK. Good guess.

Question: why couldn't you just check your system uptime and know to the minute? Too many Linux reboots and reinstalls since then?

I'm not sure you should have posted those dates, and given me the impetus to verify some of them. Four days after you posted that stuff about wiping your Win2K parbreastion, you posted this:

"Gotta admit, it's kinda cute watching so many Linvocates shoot themselves in the feet. :) "

(DFS note: that may be sarcasm, in which case, never mind)

On 11-30-01, one day before you claim to have hit this Linux "tipping point," you posted this to cola:

"Maybe you can't bring Linux's benefits to the Windows world, but you can look to Windows, Mac and other systems, note that they do, indeed, have some good points, and adopt those into Linux."

And on 12-22-01, three weeks after this supposed mystical moment of clarity you had regarding moving to Linux desktop, you said:

So you used to call cola morons "linonuts"? ha! And if we go back a little earlier, it seems you were a fairly staunch defender of Windows 2000, of the GUI vs. the CLI, of various Windows apps, etc. I know for a fact I can find posts of yours from a few years ago that state the exact opposite of things you claim these days about Windows vs. Linux. I won't waste a lot of time to find and post them to cola and start more flaming and such, but you know what you said.

note: I won't say these behaviors make you a hypocrite, since three years have pbutted and you actually run Linux and know both systems well, but you've become a serious cola bozo and it is kind of humorous to see you support Windows and rag on Linux in those old posts.
