Forget Kier... he has essentially stated that, as he sees it, the people who have followed Snit from csma are on equal footing with Snit at the present time... though, he does leave open the...

Your detector is out of whack again.

Most of us hold no resentment for people who do not know linux well. I dare say most of us know more people who don't know linux well than the numbers of people we know who *do* know it pretty well.

What I know *I* resent is the atbreastude that many have that linux, which has been around for over a decade and has garnered more and more users over time, is "bad", or is doing something wrong, or has problems with the *way* it does what it does, or any number of other malinformed notions that newtards bring into the mix when they find it doesn't fit the perfect little mold they've designed in their heads about how the world should work.

Most of us will have a little patience when people first start with that atbreastude. But we also expect others to be teachable.

After a few rounds of finding out that things are working OK, but that the problem lies with the user not knowing *how* to access those things, or the user doing something wrong themselves, what some of us have come to expect is that the user will begin to recognize that *they* have a problem in the knowledge area, and they'll stop blaming the OS for their own ignorance.

From what I have experienced, though, when someone asks a question they are ridiculed and flamed. People who do...

You are rushing headlong into the Arena of the Unteachable. Rather, you *would* be if not for the reality of the situation (more on that in a moment).

You keep being directed to areas where it's clear that the only problem that exists is one of expectations, that the software is working fine and you simply don't know how to access things yet. But you keep waving your arms around about how things don't work rather than recognize, each and every time, it is a problem with *you* who lacks the understanding, not a problem with the software that is working as designed.

When all of these things are shown to you, you want to blame us for your unfortunate inability to grasp the simple concept that you are a newtard, and that as a newtard you can expect a bit of a learning curve. It's *our* fault, or the fault of linux, that we-it aren't conforming to your idea of how the world works. *WE* are trolls for not acting the way you expect us to act, instead of looking around and finding that you are odd man out. Linux is *finally* meeting *your* standards, as though we are all supposed to jump for joy since "Snit the Educator" has pronounced some little aspect as good, and has blessed it for us.

All of that aside, though, because it's an act. A more refined version than we usually see, but the script has only had a few tweaks to the dialog instead of a major rewrite of the scenes.

You come to an *advocacy* group seeking help. Did it ever occur to you that other groups might be more in line with providing help? (Let me answer it for you.) No! Not because you didn't think about that, but because you aren't *seeking* help. You're seeking a place to vent and troll.

You aren't teachable because you aren't trying to be taught. There may be congenital reasons for it as well, but those don't apply in this case because you have little or no intention of being taught. That's not your purpose.

I'm not saying go away, "Snit the Educator". Advocacy groups are designed to *attract* vermin who want to troll, vermin such as yourself.

In closing, welcome. Get in line behind the other trolls (ignore the 92.7% that look just like Flatfish, since those are just s-h-it's socks anyway). Just learn to stop acting wounded whenever somebody challenges your phony buttertions. Most of us have seen the song and dance routine before, back when it was still fresh and new, and we recognized it within a couple of sentences.

(Now, go ahead and accuse me of trolling because I called you on your behavior. Claim to be hurt and broken because someone doesn't buy your nice guy, clueless newtard act. Demand evidence, Flatso-like, that you *aren't* what you pretend to be and *are* what you clearly are. I'll be sure to shed a tear.)
