I was pretending to believe you when you were clearly lying. I suppose that means I, too, was pretending to believe something - your comments - that I knew were not true.

Just for the record, though, one can be very knowledgeable about a topic and still learn from someone with less knowledge. In your comments about you show a lack of understanding of that - or at least you pretend to not understand.
