I agree... which is one reason why most of the free distros of Linux would not suit the needs of the new user.

I question Rick to make sure he did not simply word that poorly or that there was not a misunderstanding
Do you believe those are "most" of the free distros, Rick? Let's start there, and then we can look at the details of those distros.
Rick is not able to clear things up - he does not show any understanding of the number of distros available - in fact, he merely panics and shows he can copy and paste:

From there I tell Rick that there are far more than four distros, and only then does he come back saying he accepts that. There is nothing to suggest he understood that before.
