(Symbian promo snipped)

You asked : What is this kind of business worth?

I answered: Maybe you should just look at the worth of cell phone business as a start.

Are you willing to admit that 'this kind of business' is worth quite a lot?

BTW, you might want to do a little research. Nokia and Symbian are feuding. Nokia is starting to use Linux. If they switch, suddenly Linux becomes 'top dog'. Palm One IS switching to Linux, which will give Linux larger piece of the PDA market.

Sheesh... the --consumer-- pays. Do you think the tires on your new car are free? Or the windshield?

You show your dishonesty. Suse didn't 'fail to stay in business'. They were doing fine. Novell saw that and decided to buy a flourishing Linux vendor.

Your dishonesty is showing. Again. You want people to think are businesses are profitable from the beginning when the overwhelming number of businesses need capital investors to stay alive until they start to show profits.

Profit is Profit. And Mandriva is justy emerging from reorganization.

Really? You show your dishonesty AGAIN. Suse's 9.3 DVD can be DLed for $0. Mandriva has a $0 DL version. You can DL Red HAt's RPM's for $0.

And DLing software for $0 that companies offer for $0 does not make anyone a freeloader.

"I know someone .... " is not a reference. AND ... 'pay again ... or use something else' doesn't mean anything. Show me something --from Red Hat-- that says you must remove Red HAt software at the end of the subscription period. And then square that with the GPL.

lot? Hell no, Rick! Are you that stupid? Maybe you better stick with teaching the fat girls how to do volunteer EMS work! LOL!!! You conveniently snipped the part where I found out that...
