My Favorite TaxSuse Gone Mad v9.3 is crippled beyond belief On Sunday 10 April 2005 14:55 Phillip Cornwallis Well. that's not QUITE what the reviewer has said since! I take it that you were...
So I can buttume you feel equally about using all those tax benefits - roads, bridges, a safe secure night at home, not having to put your mother in law up for the rest of her life, being able to walk to a restaurant at lunch and not having to wade through hungry hordes of beggers, use of a court system that doesn't cost you your life savings just to protect your legal rights, a police system that doesn't depend on bribes, a safe school for your children, confidence that the food and medication you buy won't kill you and works and nourishes you as advertised, doctors that are available to everyone and who don't find it financially advantagous to pretend something is wrong with you that isn't, parks and nature preserves that aren't reserved only for the very wealthy, rivers, oceans woodlands and air that isn't totally polluted so breathing is hard and fish and wildlife actually do exist, not having to pay through the nose for gas, water, telephone service, and internet access because some company managed to get a monopoly, public transportation that is actually available and does run to most places..... I'm sure you never use any of those things and think they are all just for people who are spoiled rotten. And you are right, those people are and should have to do without them occasionally so they get some small idea of what their taxes pay for. Oh, and you might try paying your taxes every month so you don't get hit with a big bill on the due date. That's what responsible people do.
