What part of my comments do you not get: OS X is PROOF linux that sucks! 17086 Oxford So, if you could obtain iDVD to run with your exernal DVD burner, you had to hack Apple's software to get... I do hope that I am not misunderstood - one advantage of Linux over OS X (and XP) is that in *many* and even *most* cases it can be had for free... that is a great thing and not something to dismiss lightly. A the same time, do not dismiss the advantages of OS X... for example, even with all the flexibility functionality, freedom, and openness that Linux enjoys, can you point me to the distro that comes with these features: * Action Menu * How to quit and hide programs from the application switcher * Auto-select folder on move to parent * Auto-sizing file navigation windows (size to fit contents) * Column view * 128 x 128 icons with 8 bit transparency * Desktop printers * Expos * Folder Actions * Hot keys for creating new folders, duplicating items, jumping to original, etc. * Labels * Packages * Parental control options * Saved status notification * Smart folders * Spotlight * Spring loaded folders * VoiceOver Why not be happy that their is choice and that many of those choices offer benefits? -- If A = B and B = C, then A = C, except where void or prohibited by law.
