It is easy to sue, it is harder to win. It is easy to find frivolous lawsuits about almost anything. It is easy to find settlements that were made even though the case had little merit, just because the defendant didn't want it to go to trial. Sometimes there are reasons for that which don't get published in the paper.
None of this says anything about the merits of the ADA itself. If you want to make a case that the ADA is bad, you need to find real harm somewhere. Thats is harder than making fun of frivolous lawsuits and pretending that says something about the law.
